Versatile dairy-free Alfredo Sauce which is easy to make and can be used for a variety of Whole30, Paleo, or conventional pasta dishes!

Ingredients
  • Coconut Oil 1 TBSP
  • Small Yellow Onion, Diced 1 each
  • Garlic Cloves, Minced 5 each
  • Cauliflower 1 head
  • Bone Broth 1 cup (235 ml)
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk .5 cup (120 ml)
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Chop the cauliflower into small florets, about 1 inch pieces and set aside.
  2. Melt and heat coconut oil in a medium stockpot over medium heat and sautee the onion for about 5 minutes or until soft and translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute.
  4. Add the chopped cauliflower and the bone broth to the stockpot along with the bone broth and cover.
  5. Allow the cauliflower to cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat or until the cauliflower is soft.
  6. Then add all contents of the pot to a blender along with the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy!
